I have a 3 day park hopper and would like to add a 4th day. How do I do that?

    Hiya, Maddie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm happy to hear you're not only planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, but you'd like to extend your vacation and add an extra day to your theme park ticket! There's so much to see and do on a Walt Disney World vacation, and adding that extra park day gives you more time to enjoy the magic.

With a theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option, Guests have the ability to "hop" to more than one theme park on the same day - even all four parks if you choose to be adventurous! I always recommend Park Hopper tickets to maximize your days, and maximize the FUN. During Walt Disney World's phased reopening, there are a few guidelines Guests will need to follow when using the Park Hopper Option. Guests will need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the first park they'd like to visit. The Guest must physically enter that park by scanning a MagicBand, theme park ticket, or using Disney's MagicMobile service at the point of entry, before hopping to a second (or third, or fourth!) theme park after 2pm. The ability to "hop" to another park is subject to that park's capacity limitations. (I've been to Walt Disney World numerous times since Park Hopping was reintroduced, and have had no issues with park capacity limitations affecting us being able to visit other parks.)

To upgrade your three-day Park Hopper ticket to a four-day, you have two easy options:

    1) Stop by any Guest Relations location in Walt Disney World, and a Cast Member can upgrade the ticket for you.

    2) Tickets are easily upgraded through the My Disney Experience mobile app. When you open the app, choose the menu option in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Select the "Tickets and Passes" icon, and you'll be taken to a list of the theme park tickets associated with your account. Select the ticket you'd like to upgrade, and you'll see an option to "Change Ticket". You'll have the option to change the Valid Ticket Dates, Number of Days, and/or Ticket Type. When you select "Number of Days", you'll see prices which show the total cost to change the number of days on the ticket being modified. Once you choose the four-day option, you'll be taken to the Check Out screen, where you can pay the balance. Easy peasy!

I hope this helps! Please come back and visit us here at planDisney with any questions before your trip.
