Hey there Shanice and welcome to planDisney!
Some of my core memories were formed during parades at the Walt Disney World Resort. Pete from Pete's Dragon wishing me a happy birthday from the back of Elliot the dragon during the Main Street Electrical Parade when it was running there, my goddaughter seeing the Headless Horseman during the Boo to You Parade, and her very first time watching the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Since the reopening of Walt Disney World, the Character Cavalcades have kept the magic running until the return of more traditional offerings and are still popping up for lots of fun. The newest one, the
Disney Advenure Friends Cavalcade is definitely on my list of experiences for my next visit. And I'm so excited to tell you that the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is back up and running in
Magic Kingdom Park! As long as that Florida weather allows, you can catch it daily winding its way from Frontierland, through Liberty Square, and all the way down Main Street, U.S.A. Currently, it's running twice a day at noon and 3 p.m. but you can always check the schedule for it as well as the cavalcades in your
My Disney Experience app. Just tap the location icon at the bottom of the screen and change the setting to Entertainment in the drop-down menu at the top of your screen. A quick tap of the icons over the Central Plaza Viewing Area and the 50th symbol on
Cinderella Castle will give you the showtimes each day. You can even snag a
Lightning Lane via
Disney Genie+ Service for a spot in one of the special viewing areas!
Pro tip: I love to watch this parade from Frontierland! It's right at the beginning of the parade route. I like to grab a Pineapple Float from
Aloha Isle in Adventureland and walk over to Frontierland to stake out my spot. Plus right at the end you can run over and jump in line for
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
Shanice, I hope I've been of help to you today. If you have any more questions,
stop by for another chat!
Happy planning!
Taylor
