    At what day on a multi day ticket does it make sense to consider an annual pass?

        You have a great question.  I will attempt to answer it without going over any money details because the cost of Annual Tickets and Magic Your Way Tickets tend to change from year to year.  On the Magic Your Way Tickets, the initial days on cost more per day than the days at the end of this type of  ticket package.  Also the maximum days that you can buy on a Magic Your Way Ticket Package is 10 days. So if you wanted to go into the Parks on an 11th day you would have to purchase another Magic Your Way Ticket or a single day ticket. You can also add options such as Park Hopper, Water Parks Fun & More, and No Expiration options to you basic Magic Your Way Tickets, but all of these options will add more cost to your ticket package.

        So a good basic rule of thumb when deciding to purchase an Annual Pass instead of a Magic Your Way Ticket Package is that if you are planing to go to Walt Disney World for more than 10 days in a calendar year then an Annual Pass would be more economical for you.  For example if you plan to take two trips to Walt Disney World in the same year consisting of 7 days each, you would have to purchase two 7 day Magic Your Way Ticket Packages which would be more expensive than one Annual Pass. The best part of an Annual Pass is that you can enter the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom as many times as you want in a year (from the day you bought your Annual Pass until a year later).

        My son and I just purchased our first Walt Disney World Annual Passes in August 2009 and we just love them.  I will warn you that when you purchase your first Annual Pass you will be looking for ways to take more trips to the happiest place on earth--Walt Disney World!
