    On the day I am going to MK, I have reservations for a very late dinner (9:20pm) at Chef Mickey's and I am guessing the monorail & buses won't be running when we are done. What will be the best way back to our hotel, Port Orleands FQ? Taxi?

    Hi Kelly!

    Chef Mickey's is a great Character Dining Experience.  It is an absolute "must do" for our family.  First be sure the monorails are not running.  If they are running, then take the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom and catch a bus for Port Orleans French Quarter.  If the Magic Kingdom is having Extra Magic Hours or a special event, such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, that night then the monorails and buses will still be running.

    However, if the monorail is not running then you can take a bus from the Contemporary Resort to Downtown Disney or to a theme park that is having Extra Magic Hours.  Then you can transfer to a bus for Port Orleans.

    The final and fastest option is to take a taxi directly from the Contemporary to French Quarter.  I have found taxis to be relatively inexpensive when traveling anywhere on Walt Disney World property.
