Hey there, Lindsey, and welcome to planDisney!
Planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with a big ol' travel party can certainly present some interesting brain games, especially when your plans are a little different from everyone else.
But you've got a friend in me, and we're going to make that
1-day Theme Park Ticket work for you.
1-day Theme Park Tickets offer slightly less flexibility than multi-day tickets. Whereas a multi-day ticket has a range of days in which you can use it, a single-day ticket is set for a specific date. I think you're safe to wait to purchase that ticket if you want to get a little more certainty. As soon as your party decides which day they're going to
Magic Kingdom, snag yourself a ticket for that date.
Pro-tip: If you know not having that ticket will make you feel a tad antsy, you could definitely go ahead and purchase your ticket for one of the dates that your group will be in the parks and modify it via your
My Disney Experience app once you have more information. You would just be responsible for the change in price if the new date is a bit more expensive. Just open the app and tap the three-lined icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Choose the Tickets and Passes option. Choose the Change Ticket option. You'd then select a new date from Valid Ticket Dates and pay the difference in price if there is one. And just like that, you're ready to join your group in the Most Magical Place on Earth's most whimsical park. Just be sure to change that date before the clock strikes midnight on the day before it's usable, or you'll turn into a pumpkin and be stuck with your original date.
Lindsey, thanks for stopping by.
Come back to see us if you have any other questions. Have a magical day!
Happy planning!
