Hi Samantha,
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your Walt Disney World planning question! I am happy to help you think about planning for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
I am glad that you were able to take advantage of what sounds like the
Disney Military Salute Ticket. These tickets offer four or five days, depending on your choice, of admission to the
theme parks at Walt Disney World. Because Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event, your theme park tickets do not include admission to this event. You would need to purchase separate tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in addition to your daily theme park admission. You may be able to purchase discount military tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party through Shades of Green, the resort hotel for U.S. military personnel. I suggest that you contact Shades of Green to see if these are available for your date.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun event! I do suggest that you try to go to it if you can. One trick that my family likes to use is to not go to a theme park during the day of the party. We save our theme park days for other days and instead have a relaxing day at our resort hotel on the day of the party. Then we are refreshed and ready to go when it is time to head to
Magic Kingdom for the party! And there is so much to do at the party, from experiencing attractions to the unique Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and special dance parties, it feels like a whole day at the park!
Samantha, I hope that these thoughts were helpful for you. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please feel free to reach back out to planDisney if we can help you any further!
