We are going on the 7day Mexican Riviera cruise in Feb and staying in LA for two extra days to go to Disney Land. We havent booked a hotel yet. How far is Disney Land from the Cruise ship - Wonder and how can we get from LAX to the ship and the hotel?

You are going to have so much fun on the Disney Cruise to the Mexican Riviera. I am also thrilled to know that you are coming to explore my personal favorite, the Disneyland Resort

I would suggest a short stay at the Disneyland Hotels. These magical resorts will suit your budget and provide you with extra special memories. Whether it's the luxurious Disney's Grand Californian or the newly remodeled Disneyland Hotel, your family will feel like you have not missed a beat in service or quality since stepping off the Disney Wonder. In addition to being world class resorts they also offer transportation to and from the port to the Disney Hotels and to and from LAX. The best place to start is at the Disney Cruise Line site Air and Ground Transportation for the Mexican Riviera. Scroll down toward the bottom to view the transportation options. I recently spoke to the helpful cast members at the Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. They will be happy to supplement my answers. They did inform me that the cost was approximately $30.00, per person.

Lastly, the travel time from the port to Disneyland is approximately 45 minutes, which is about the same travel time as LAX to Disneyland. However, remember Los Angeles can and does often have heavy traffic, so times can vary considerably.
