Ahoy there, Robin! Thanks for sailing my way here at planDisney!
I'm so excited for the
Disney Wonder to be sailing an extended season out of San Diego! She's my favorite ship in the fleet and I'm so glad more Guests will have an opportunity to come aboard!
When it comes to 3-Night itineraries, most of them - including
Very Merrytime sailings - include a
Pirate Night on the second evening of your voyage. You can expect pirate-themed activities throughout the day and a Pirate Night Buccaneer Bash (complete with fireworks at sea) after your dinner and your evening show!
There isn't a Very Merrytime deck party, but there are sure to be plenty of holiday-themed activities going on throughout the cruise, so be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as you step aboard! On previous cruises, I've seen a tree lighting, caroling, and Santa Claus himself, just to name a few!
One thing to remember: on three-night sailings, Pirate Night does not include a pirate-themed menu at dinner. This ensures that you won't miss out on any of the original themed menus in the main dining rooms throughout your rotation! This is great for many reasons, but most of all because
Tiana's Place is reason enough to sail aboard the Disney Wonder if you ask me! Besides, Tiana doesn't seem the type to allow anyone in her kitchen - let alone pirates, haha!
I hope that helps clear the skies for your sailing, Robin! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface as you continue planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
