Hi, our 60 day mark to make reservations is fast approaching. There are still a few restaurants and quick service locations that haven't been added to the 2025 dining plan, do you know when they will be added? El Mercado, La Cantina, Lotus Blossom.

    Hello Jillian!

Welcome to planDisney! Dining reservation day is almost here for you! If my calculations are correct it means that you will be making your reservations on Christmas Day for your trip! I hope Santa gets you all of the best reservations!

I recently spoke with a Cast Member regarding this issue as there are quite a few restaurants that are not listed as being included in the 2025 dining plan compared to this year. I was told that they are still working on finalizing some details which could take time to work out. Some of these restaurants are not truly Disney-owned and have to finalize their agreements with Walt Disney World Resort for the new year. I have to say that I have been eyeing the restaurant count over the last few months and it has increased quite a bit. I have a good feeling that they will continue to work on adding more and most likely keep what was already accepted on the plan this year for next year. My best recommendation for you now is to make the dining reservations that you want now and see what the status is as your arrival date approaches. Currently, La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT states that "Some Dining Plans Accepted" and I hope to see that changed in the future. As for El Mercado de Coronado, I am shocked it is still not included as it is the main Quick-Service location for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Jillian, I think you will just have to be patient and see what happens. Secure those dining reservations but be mindful of the cancellation policy. Guests usually have until 2 hours before the reservation to cancel without a penalty and I suggest you set an alarm so you don't accidentally get charged.

I'm sorry I don't have more information for you but this is very normal and I expect the majority of your favorites will make the list.

    Have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
