Our 180 day mark for booking dining is approaching. I want to book Hoop De Doo using the dining plan. Do I just go ahead and nook online as I would other restaurants and can I book category 1 with the dining plan? Thanks

    Hi Maria!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to see that your 180 day mark is fast approaching - the countdown is on!  The Disney Dining Plan is very flexible and such good value across the whole Resort, but especially when used for meals that require two Table-Service credits each, such as Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  There are three categories of seating:  if you choose Category 1 you are not permitted to use any of the Disney Dining Plans to pay for your meal.  Categories 2 and 3 both require two Table-Service entitlements per person from either the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.  Reservations are highly encouraged for this very enjoyable, lively Dinner Show, and these can be made online (in the same way as for every other dining reservation), or by using the My Disney Experience  mobile app, up to 180 days in advance. Your Disney Dining Plan can be used from time of check-in at your Disney Resort hotel, until midnight on your day of departure.  If you need to check your Dining Plan balance at any time you can do so on My Disney Experience, or by asking your server at any restaurant. Your remaining balance will also be printed on your dining receipts.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World. ~ Sue
