The day after we leave Disney will be our son's 4th birthday. We are planning to celebrate at Chef Mickey's; however, we don't want our 7 year old daughter to feel left out because technically, this is not a birthday trip. What could we do for her?

    Hi Lyn,

How thoughtful that you want to ensure your princess feels special too!  I'm guessing the fact that she is at Disney World will do most of the trick!  However, if you'd like to do something special for her, you might want to include a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess makeover.  There are two locations for these magical transformations, at Downtown Disney and at the Magic Kingdom.  If your daughter is past the "princess stage," perhaps you'd like to spend an afternoon shopping with her at Downtown Disney while dad and your son check out some attractions.  Finally, if you are planning on ordering a special occasion cake for your son's birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's, you might consider ordering your daughter her own, princess cake (it comes in an adorable pink jewelry box that you can take home) for about $15 from the cake hotline at (407) 827-2253.  They also have individual pirate-themed cakes in the same price range that might be perfect for your son.

    Have a magical trip!
