We have a day layover in Orlando in November, we want to go to the water park for the day. Just wondering if we buy our tickets ahead of time would we get a refund if the park was closed for any reason?

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel,

I think spending some stopover time at Walt Disney World sounds like a perfectly magical way to spend a day. Both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park offer a fun mix of splashy thrills and just-plain laid-back relaxing. Keep in mind that tickets to the water parks are non-refundable. In your specific situation, it sounds like you'll be visiting the water park for a day during a layover and your itinerary schedule is limited, meaning you don't have the flexibility to pick a better day to visit if needed. In your case, my best suggestion would be to buy your tickets directly at the water park for the day you are visiting when you know you'll be able to enjoy the day.

Karen, here's wishing you some fun magic for your Walt Disney World stopover.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
