Hello Casey,
Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great and fun question! I hope our past advice and tips have helped you over the years. So, I am thrilled that you are back to get some recommendations for the newly re-imagined
Disney Springs area.
With so many new shops, restaurants and entertainment options, I would like to offer my suggestions for some of my favorites, especially for those teenagers. If they are thrill seekers, I highly recommend
Characters in Flight - Operated by Aerophile. This tethered balloon is definitely not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights, but really an exciting adventure for those that seek out a unique and fun way to view Walt Disney World. Keep in mind that flights could be cancelled due to extreme winds or inclement weather.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes has 30 lanes on two stories offering spectacular eats and drinks. This is not your typical bowling alley. The music is lively and the atmosphere has a nostalgic feel. I have rarely been disappointed by food at Disney, and Splitsville was no exception. I was "bowled over" at the variety and quality of options.
Moving from land to sea, why not take a spin in an
amphicar at The BOATHOUSE Restaurant? You cannot get more interesting than that. Before or after your ride, enjoy the tasty offerings including oysters on the half shell and swordfish.
Do not forget the world-class shopping and maybe a Sprinkles cupcake from their ATM! Enjoy all the fun.
