    I have a 8 day hoppers for myself, wife and two kids for our upcoming trip over thanksgiving. I used to be a premiere passholder but at least wanted to upgrade mine to a Disneyworld Annual Pass on or before arrival. What is the best way to go about that.

    Welcome to planDisney we are thrilled you stopped by with your great question about Annual Passes.  Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up quickly, with the 50th Anniversary Celebration it is definitely a great year to consider upgrading to an Annual Pass.  

    Much like you, I really miss the Premiere Pass, and was sad to see the program paused in order to focus on the Passholder programs at each Theme Park.  The good news is that it is easy to upgrade your Theme Park Tickets at any guest relations once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, just head over and a Cast Member will help with your request and payment will be due at that time.  Since you are planning on upgrading, your Annual Passes will be active the first day you enter into a theme park, so it makes the most sense to upgrade sooner rather than later in order to take advantage of the extras and discounts that come with your Annual Pass.  If you wait until the last day on your Theme Park Ticket, the activation date will still be the first day that you used your Theme Park Ticket, and that will also be your renewal date when the time comes.
