I have a 10 day hopper will be @ WDW for twelve days starting Nov3. One day for MVMCP I did not plan park visits that day, planned arrival @ 4PM to MK. MDE app let me make a FP for 4:45. Will using this FP count against my Magic Your Way # of days?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Earl! I’m glad you’re hEAR with your question! Getting tickets arranged just so is an important step to making a vacation go smoothly.

One trip I made with my friends (before a family trip later in the year) caused a later-use ticket to be taken off my card instead of the one I wanted. You can imagine that I was all a fluster hours later when I realized it! Fortunately, my mistake will never be yours since I can give you some tips to make sure it runs smoothly. First of all, you’ll want to have your tickets prioritized. If all you have are the 10-day Park Hopper Ticket as well as the Party ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, then you are already in good order. When you visit the Christmas Party, you’ll see a separate line to the right of the touchpoints at Magic Kingdom with Cast Members festively clad for the Party. Here is where you will enter. BEFORE you scan your MagicBand, you’ll want to speak with a Cast Member to make sure the correct ticket is taken off your band. I have asked before, and these party-only lines are supposed to only take a party ticket, but if you are nervous, it never hurts to ask. A plaid CM will step up with a mobile device to make sure all is well. Then you can hop into the party and experience the SNOW right on Main Street, U.S.A.

If I can rest your fears any further with your vacation plans, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
