I have a 3 day hopper ticket left over from a vacation years ago never used. May I put the value of that ticket towards new tickets? I would now like two, 2 day tickets. I understand there would be a balance due. Thank you.

    Hiya, Dawnelle!

Yes, in most cases, a wholly-unused theme park ticket may be upgraded to a new theme park ticket of equal or greater value, even if it is expired. The easiest way to upgrade a ticket is by visiting a main entrance ticket booth. You may also want to reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line.

Here are some things to keep in mind when upgrading a theme park ticket.

    • Some tickets are not eligible to be upgraded and will be marked as such on the tickets.
    • The amount paid for an eligible, wholly-unused ticket may be applied toward the cost of up to one new ticket or Magic Key pass.
    • The current-day price of the new ticket must be greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
    • The full difference in price must be paid when upgrading the ticket.
    • Remember that each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid admission and a theme park reservation. Once your new ticket is linked to your account in the Disneyland mobile app, you may proceed to book a park reservation.

I’m so happy that your old ticket will finally have its magic unlocked to help you experience The Happiest Place on Earth. I hope you have a wonderful time, Dawnelle!
