Hiya, Vivian! We are so happy to have you back at planDisney. I can see that you are just a few short weeks away from your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. It's time to pack up the Minnie ears and start that pixie-dusted countdown!
You are going to love having a Park Hopper ticket and three full days to experience the Disneyland Resort. That is the perfect amount of time to hit all of your must-dos, try some new experiences, have time to revisit some favorites ... and also fit in some pool time! When it comes to changing your theme park reservations, you can absolutely change just one of the dates. I'm happy to walk you through a "how-to"!
- Before making any changes, you will want to take a peek at the theme park reservation calendar to ensure that there is availability for your new date. Spring Break is in full swing, and I know reservations have been filling up quickly. Be sure to toggle to the Park Hopper view when looking at the calendar. If you see availability, I would act quickly. Once you cancel your current reservations, a new reservation is not guaranteed until you have rebooked, reached the confirmation page, and received the QR code via email.
- To cancel, open up your Disneyland Mobile App and tap on the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Select "Future Plans" and you will see all of your upcoming theme park reservations along with any other plans you have made, such as dining reservations.
- Scroll to the date you would like to change and select "Cancel Reservation".
- On the next page, you will select the Guests who will need their reservation canceled. Once you click "Done", this reservation is officially released for the party you selected.
- You will be redirected to the start of the process where you can "Book Theme Park Reservations" and hopefully secure your new date.
I know the last time you visited us you were interested in Princess character dining! While I understand your littles may have grown since your last visit, I recently dined at
Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel with a group of my fellow panelists and we had a BLAST! It was basically a breakfast dance party complete with Mickey waffles and Mickey frittatas! What I love most about this experience is that it is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and you can usually find a reservation even as you get closer to your date. Since it is in the Disneyland Hotel and does not require a park ticket, it makes a great spot for an arrival day dinner or farewell breakfast before you head out of the Happiest Place on Earth!
Vivian, if you have any more questions as you are planning, please come back to see us here at planDisney! We are always here for you!
Magic awaits!
Tara
