Hi there, Deidra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a fun getaway! I love that Disney Cruise Line offers short two and three night itineraries for a quick trip to sea! Not to mention,
Halloween on the High Seas is one of my favorite times to cruise. The decorations and Halloween themed activities onboard make it so festive and fun!
Palo is another one of my favs about Disney Cruising. My husband and I enjoy a “date night” while our kids are having a blast in the Oceaneer Club. Currently, the earliest seating time at Palo is 6:00PM, but that is always subject to change. When your online check-in window opens, you will have the opportunity to make a reservation for dinner and any other onboard activities. If for some reason the time you are hoping for is unavailable, my suggestion would be to keep watching to see if some changes or cancels their reservation OR check when you get onboard about changing your reservation. That can be done at one of the main dining rooms on the afternoon of embarkation. The Personal Navigator that you receive when you check in at the Port will list the hours and location that you can check on reservations.
I am excited for you and your getaway to Halloween on the High Seas. I know you will make some really wonderful and magical memories during this sailing – just make sure the chocolate souffle from Palo is one of them! I promise you won’t regret that decision!
As your trip approaches, please feel free to come back with any other questions you may have.
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
