Hi there Caroline, and welcome back to planDisney! You must be so excited that your
jolly holiday is just around the corner.
Usually, any Guest visiting a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection is welcome to pay for valet parking and remain parked there all day; however, during the
current state of reopening,
valet parking is only guaranteed for Guests with disabilities who may require parking assistance. Valet service will be reintroduced to hotels over the coming months, so upon your arrival at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, I recommend checking with the Security Host for parking options.
If valet parking is unavailable on the morning of your breakfast, you are entitled to complimentary self-parking at Disney's Contemporary Resort for the duration of your meal. After eating, exploring, and shopping (don't miss the beautiful holiday decorations and souvenEAR shops on the fourth floor!), you'll need to move your car to another location. If you plan to spend the day at
Magic Kingdom Park, you'll park your car at the Transportation & Ticket Center and take either a
monorail or ferry boat to your destination.
I hope this is helpful, Caroline. If you're concerned that valet parking won't be available on the day of your visit, and you're looking for a convenient way to arrive for your meal, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. You'll avoid parking fees, and with a confirmed dining reservation, you'll have no problem getting dropped off at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Thanks for sending your question our way, and if there's anything else we can do before your very merry vacation begins, don't hesitate to reach out again.
Happy holidays!
Betsy
