We have 1 day & we want to go to Epcot & Magic Kingdom. We DON'T want to do the park hopper. We want to pick one park or the other. I have 11yr twin boys who love rides. Which of these two parks would they have the most fun at because I only ha

Hi, Kelly!  This would be a really tough decision for me and for my girls, but there are pluses to both theme parks.

My first thought was the Magic Kingdom, because I honestly think this is the perfect theme park combination.  They have attractions that appeal to every age - both rides and shows, and this is just the crown jewel of Walt Disney World.  There are thrill rides (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain); interactive rides (Buzz Lightyear); and the classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion.  There's an awesome parade and magnificent fireworks.  It's got something everyone should enjoy.

EPCOT has thrills with Test Track and Mission: Space.  Soarin' is a very popular ride on attraction, and you also have Maelstrom in Norway.  There are educational experiences such as the Living with the Land attraction and Ellen's Energy Adventure.  My 9 year old daughter could spend all day at Innoventions, having fun learning interesting and valuable lessons.  You could end the day there with Illuminations.

I think if this was a one time only - or one time for a long time - trip, I'd go with Magic Kingdom.  It's what most people think of when they think Walt Disney World, and as much as I love EPCOT, the Magic Kingdom is more of a "Disney" experience.

    Have a great vacation!
