Hi Jacqueline, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you are counting down the weeks to your Walt Disney World Vacation, and I'm so excited for you!
I smiled when I read your question, because I have done this exact thing! Last October, I visited Walt Disney World with a crew of my best friends (who also happen to be my fellow Moms Panelists), and we had an epic Epcot day, in which some of us
Disneybounded as our favorite characters. I dressed as Belle, and I was wearing a giant blue bow in my hair in addition to an outfit inspired by my favorite bookworm. That evening, we had a dining reservation at Disney Springs, and I actually brought my dinner outfit (along with a stick of deodorant!) in my backpack. I changed in the restrooms at Disney Springs, which are usually pretty clean and very nicely air conditioned, though you are welcome to change clothes in a theme park restroom too.
Morimoto Asia is considered a signature dining establishment, and I feel more comfortable in those establishments when I'm wearing something a step above my theme park attire. Having said that, unlike some of the other signature locations, Morimoto Asia does not specify dress code on their website, and I think you'd be fine in your theme park wear. My friend Brandy provides some
signature dining attire advice in this answer. I'll add that it can be pretty air-conditioned in the restaurants, especially after a day in the sun, so I usually pack a light cardigan.
ChEARs to a great meal at Morimoto Asia, Jacqueline!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
