Ahoy, Julia, and welcome to planDisney! You've got such an exciting trip ahead – a Disney cruise is even more fun with the addition of Halloween décor, activities, and entertainment.
I've got good news for you. The 3-Night Halloween on the High Seas cruises out of San Diego in 2026 include both Pirate Night and a Halloween celebration!
For
Pirate Night, you can look forward to a deck party, themed activities, and even fireworks (weather permitting). Watching the sky illuminate while at sea is something truly special – it's my favorite part of Pirate Night. On 3-night themed cruises, there isn't typically a Pirate Night menu. This allows Guests to experience the menus of each of the three Main Dining restaurants during the sailing.
Halloween fun is typically held the following night, but the schedule is subject to change. The highlight for this evening is Mickey's Mouse-Querade, a not-so-spooky celebration featuring Disney pals in festive outfits, dancing, music, and more. There will also be trick-or-treating and other activities to enjoy. Discover meet-and-greets, special food and drinks, and seasonal décor like the
Pumpkin Tree!
Once you board the ship, connect to the Wi-Fi and check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see the schedule of onboard activities. You can even heart activities you're interested in to receive a reminder before they begin. That way, you won't miss a thing.
Julia, if you're heading to Ensenada, you'll be on either the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic. These ships are smaller than others in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, but they pack a lot of fun. I really enjoy these ships because they're easy to navigate and have a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Plus, both have the
features Disney Cruise Line is known for. The San Diego Port Terminal is easily accessible, and there are plenty of things to do in the immediate area if you have extra time before or after your cruise.
