If I am going just for the day, is it easy to park my car and still get around?

    Hi Timothy!

If you are going to Walt Disney World for just one day then you probably won't be using your car much.  Most of my solo trips to Walt Disney World have been one day trips.  On those trips, I typically concentrate on visiting just one or two theme parks.  If this is your first trip to Walt Disney World or your first trip to a particular theme park, then I suggest you concentrate on just one park.  There's a lot to see and enjoy!  If you do hop to another park, then be sure to keep your parking stub, as you only have to pay for parking one time each day!

If you're visiting a water park, either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, then depending on how long you stay there, you might have time to visit one of the theme parks as well.  In that case, since you have your own car, I recommend driving from one to the other as opposed to taking Disney transportation back and forth.  You'll get to where you need to go much faster with your own car!

As a side note, if this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, then I would like to recommend that you visit the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  The Magic Kingdom is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and should be visited by everybody.  However, many adult guests find Epcot to be their favorite resort.
