Hi! We have 1 day at Disneyland with our 7 and 8 year old in April. Are both parks doable in one day and what are the must see shows and rides? We don't want to do any big meals...seeing as much of the parks is our main priority. Thanks!

    Hi there Brianne,

As someone who has done this many times, I say "GO FOR IT."  If you plan to arrive super early... preferably prior to park opening... and stay until evening... it CAN be done.  Be sure to have a plan of attack ready prior to your arrival!  It always helps to make a list of those attractions and shows that interest you the most and try to make a bit of a schedule!  You can identify those attractions that offer FASTPASS and choose the attractions you'll plan to experience while waiting for a particular FASTPASS time to arrive!

Mid to late afternoon, head over to California Adventure!  It's literally just a few steps across the esplanade!  No need for transportation or long travel times!  You'll definitely want to stick around to see Cars Land at night, when the neon is all aglow, and perhaps World of Color will be the perfect ending to your day!

I am here if you have additional questions, Brianne!
