Hi! My 2 day disneyland tickets are expiring Jnauary 2024 but I wont be able to go. Can I apply the amount to buy another ticket in the future? Thanks

Hi Jula! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

I'm sorry you haven't been able to take advantage of your tickets yet, but I have good news for you. If your tickets are wholly unused standard admission tickets, then yes, even when they expire, they retain their value.

Sometimes life does get in the way, and the best way to overcome that disappointment is to start looking forward to your next vacation. I hope it's right around the corner for you. When you're ready to purchase new tickets for your next visit, I suggest you call the dedicated Tickets phone line where a friendly Cast Member can assist you in applying the value of your expired tickets towards the purchase of new tickets. I recently went through this process myself for several admission tickets we hadn't been able to use before their expiration. Prices do change, so there will most likely be a price difference. Have a method of payment handy when you make the call as well as your original purchase confirmation with ticket ID numbers. That will make the transaction as quick as possible.

Maybe you'll be able to visit later in 2024? There will be a lot of new magic coming to the parks. One returning favorite that's been confirmed is the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. If you're a foodie, it's a great time to visit the parks. You can sample sips and savory bites and sweet treats to your heart's content. Follow Disney Eats for all the official food and beverage news about the parks. It's a great resource for planning your must-haves on an upcoming visit. They'll have all the details about the festival, as well as any other foodie news you can use!

    I hope this helps.
