We have a 5 day Disneyland ticket. If we make a reservation for our arrival day and our flights get delayed, can we cancel that reservation and move it to our departure day? Does it affect our ticket if we let the reservation expire without scanning in?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Michael!

I'm happy to hear you and your family have a Disneyland Resort vacation planned for 2025. It will be an exciting year to visit! You will enjoy the recently transformed Downtown Disney District, take a ride on the newest attraction, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and celebrate Disneyland Park's 70th Anniversary! To keep up with the latest news, stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog.

To experience this and more, you will need valid park admission and a Park Reservation for each day you plan to visit the Theme Parks. I understand you have a reservation for your arrival day but are worried that you will not have sufficient time to enjoy the parks. No worries!

Although Disney encourages canceling your reservation in advance so other Guests can make a reservation, there is no penalty if you don't make it to your reservation. Just don't forget to make a new reservation (online or through the Disneyland App) if you aren't able to visit the parks on your arrival day!

Michael, have you heard of MagicBand+? This device brings convenience to a day at the parks. You can use it to enter the parks, check in at Lightning Lane entrances, and link your Disney PhotoPass photos--just to name a few!

I hope this answers your question, Michael. Feel free to visit us again with any other questions you have. We are here to help!

    Your Pal,
