Welcome, James!
We're thrilled to have you here at planDisney. You've got quite a spooktacular day planned! You are going to love enjoying all the magic of the Disneyland Resort by day and then heading into the entertaining tricks and treats of the
Oogie Boogie Bash by night. With so much excitement packed into one visit, it's a good idea to think ahead about how to maximize your time in the magic. Let's take a look!
With limited time, the
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is a great way to cover a lot all your magical bases. The Premier Pass allows you to take advantage of Lightning Lane access without having to book specific return windows, giving you a lot of flexibility (and efficiency!) during your day. You can experience one-time entry to every available Lightning Lane attraction, including those typically only available through the Single Pass - Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers! If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you will be able to use the Premier Pass in both Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park throughout the day. You will start in the park where you have made your theme park reservation and be able to hop between the two after 11:00 AM PST.
Ok, so how does this factor into your Oogie Boogie plans? Lighting Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass are not offered or available during the party hours from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. While I know that is likely not the news you were hoping to hear, if you've added a Park Hopper, you would be able to use the Premier Pass in California Adventure until the party kicks off at 6:00 PM. I'd actually highly recommend hitting your favorite attractions before party time, because once those happy haunts arrive, you are going to want to use your time to experience the offerings only available during the party, from the
Frightfully Fun Parade to
Villains Grove to the
Trick-or-Treat Trails!
Another benefit of already being inside California Adventure with your regular day ticket is that you can check in for Oogie Boogie from within the park and skip the line at the Main Entrance Gate. Typically, somewhere near the front entrance will be a check-in location inside the park. If you can't locate it, just ask a friendly Cast Member! Grab your credentials and special guide map for the evening and head to a shady spot to read through all of the offerings!
James, I hope we've sent you up for a bootastic day in the parks! The Disney Parks Blog is a great resource ahead of your visit. You can read through all of the
Oogie Boogie highlights as well as the
Halloween Time Foodie Guide, so you don't miss a thing! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!
Boo to you!
