Hello, Travis. I am really sorry for your loss. As Vision so poignantly teaches us, "What is grief if not love persevering?" I hope the memories of and love for your family member bring you comfort.
My advice varies depending on where you are on your trip, so I will offer a few ideas based on possible scenarios. In all cases,
Walt Disney World theme park tickets are not refundable.
If you are currently at
Walt Disney World Resort and have used one day of your three-day ticket, you can call the
Existing Tickets line or stop by
Guest Relations to speak with a Cast Member. Anything that could be done would be an exception to the ticket policy. These Cast Members would be able to provide the best guidance on options, if there are any.
If you have yet to use one of the theme park days on your ticket, I recommend buying a single-day ticket and saving the three-day ticket for a future trip. Although your three-day ticket is non-refundable, you can change the dates and apply the value of your ticket to the new dates. If the new dates are more expensive, you will have to pay the increased amount, but it is preferable to losing two days on your ticket when it expires.
Again, I share my condolences on your loss. I wish I had a direct answer for you to make one thing on your list a little easier. Speaking with a Cast Member about ticketing is the best course for understanding your options.
