If I have 14day Disney Magic Tickets , do we still need to book park reservations for each day. Thank you K

    Hi Karen, welcome to planDisney!

December is one of the most magical times of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Holiday spirit at The Most Magical Place on Earth looks like snow on Main Street, U.S.A., sounds like The Voices of Liberty performing during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and tastes like fresh gingerbread from the Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

My family most often purchases 5-day tickets for our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. A 14-day ticket that includes access to the theme parks and water parks, park hopping, mini-golf, and more sounds too good to be true, but that's exactly the kind of ticket you have, Karen! There's a lot of pixie dust in your 14-Day Magic Tickets, so let's make sure you know how to use them.

Valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (Disney band, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are required for theme park entry through January 8, 2024. Park dates for this past December filled up, so I recommend making your theme park reservations at least one month in advance. You can always cancel or modify an existing theme park reservation if needed. Theme park reservations can be made online using the Disney Park Pass system. You only need to make a theme park reservation for the first theme park you enter each day; an additional theme park reservation is not required when hopping to another park after 2:00 p.m. Theme park reservations are not required for water parks, either.

Dining availability helps guide my family's theme park schedule. If we want to have breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, for example, the day I'm able to secure that dining reservation becomes the day I will make a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. You do not need a theme park reservation to book a dining reservation, though a theme park reservation is required to redeem an in-park dining reservation. Advance reservations for dining can be made online 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire length of stay 60 days before check-in.

I hope this information helps guide your next planning steps, Karen. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.

    Choose holiday magic,
    Jennifer
