Hi Ann! Welcome to planDisney! Greetings from across the Atlantic!
How great is it knowing that you get to
spend 14 days roaming around all four of the theme parks and having an absolute blast! I love that Walt Disney World offers this amount of park days for Guests visiting from Great Britain and the United Kingdom. And with the deal currently ongoing for Magic Tickets, you basically get the second week without any additional cost!
Incorporating a day at a
Disney Water Park is something I recommend that all Guests do, especially during the summer months. With the heat during a Florida summer, spending a morning or afternoon in the water is exactly what is needed. Currently, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and operating, while Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is undergoing a refurbishment at this time.
Ann, you can absolutely visit both the water park and the
Magic Kingdom on the same day! Since reservations are not required for entry into the water parks, you'll only need to make a park reservation for the Magic Kingdom on this day. Then, you can decide how you want your day to turn out. You can visit the water park first and then head over to the Magic Kingdom later. You can flop this idea and visit the theme park first followed by the water park. You can even start your day at the Magic Kingdom, then hop over to the water park for the afternoon, then finish your day watching Disney Enchantment back at the Magic Kingdom. The options are endless!
If you are looking to cool off and possibly get a bit wet when visiting the Magic Kingdom, make sure to hop on
Splash Mountain during the day. There is nothing quite like this iconic attraction that is packed with thrills and wonderful storytelling. You'll also be leaving there repeating a jingle that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
Ann, I hope you have a fantastic time during your summer holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort!
