Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney.
Pamela, can I tell you a secret? Don't tell anyone, but
Fantasmic! is the only
nighttime spectacular at the
Walt Disney World Resort I haven't seen. I've seen the version at the
Disneyland Resort and can't wait to experience this wonderful show on the east coast one day!
As with many
advanced dining reservations at the resort, the
Fantasmic! dining package can be booked 60 days before the date you want to dine. However, if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, reservations can be obtained 60 days before your
arrival date and you can book reservations for your entire resort stay (up to ten days). Since this dining package is very popular and you are going during the Spring Break season, dates may book up quickly. You can always check back to see if availability opens up as your vacation gets closer. Oftentimes, people cancel as their plans change and those reservations open up for someone else to book.
When trying to secure those hard-to-get dining reservations, I often recommend booking them later in your trip if you have a Disney Resort stay booked. I say this because only Guests staying at a Disney Resort can book 60 days before their arrival date for the length of their stay. Everyone else must wait for 60 days before the date they want to dine. So, for example, if you're going to the parks for four days, try to book it for your fourth day since fewer people will have been able to book that reservation.
Pamela, also remember that there are a few different restaurants to choose from when it comes to this dining package. This means there are more opportunities to secure the dining package since it's not just one restaurant you are trying to book. These restaurants include the
Hollywood Brown Derby,
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano,
Hollywood & Vine,
50's Prime Time Café, and one of my favorites,
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.
Pamela, I hope you have a great time visiting the resort. Don't forget to check out the
International Flower & Garden Festival in
EPCOT, which runs from March 1, 2023, to July 5, 2023!
Nothing is more powerful than the imagination,
Matt
