Welcome back to planDisney, Donna!
I love that 60-days-out-from-your-Disney-vacation feeling. It brings all of the excitement of an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit way before you step into the magic on arrival day. I am more than happy to offer some insight about what you’re currently experiencing.
You’ll love to hear that by the time of your visit, theme park reservations will no longer be needed for Guests with date-based tickets.
This change begins on January 9, 2024, and it may be the reason why you’re not able to make a theme park reservation for the month of February.
If you have a ticket that is not date-based, you could be having trouble making a theme park reservation because the date is already reserved (in the case of a
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder) or because your tickets are not yet linked to your Disney account. You can link your tickets using
the tickets and reservations linking webpage on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
AN EXTRA GEM: You can still make advance dining reservations for dining experiences inside the theme parks without having a theme park reservation, so Hakuna Matata! While you work out if you need a theme park reservation or not (based on your ticket type), feel free to secure your seats for your desired meals now. Just know that you do need valid entry (ticket and possible theme park reservation) into the theme park by the time of your dining reservation.
I hope that this information unriddles this part of your vacation planning process, Donna. If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, feel free to revisit us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
