Hello. On the day of debarkment, is breakfast served. What time is it expected to be off of the ship?

    Ahoy there, Mikiesha,

Thank you so much for dropping anchor here at planDisney with your debarkation day breakfast question! Can you believe that in just a few short weeks you’ll be stepping aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship? Soon you’ll be hearing that magical “When You Wish Upon a Star” sail away horn, feeling the ocean breeze in your hair, and maybe even enjoying an ice cream cone while watching the waves roll by.

Now, let’s sail right into your question. You’ll be happy to know that breakfast is indeed served on debarkation day. The schedule is tied to your rotational dining assignment, and you’ll typically enjoy your farewell breakfast in the same restaurant where you had dinner the night before.

    • If you had early dinner seating, breakfast is usually around 6:45 AM.
    • If you had late dinner seating, breakfast is typically around 8:00 AM.
Disney Cruise Line does ask that all Guests vacate their staterooms by 8:00 AM, and most Guests are off the ship by 9:30 AM so the crew can get ready to welcome the next wave of lucky sailors.

Here’s a little tip from my own voyages—before you step off the ship, consider booking a Placeholder Reservation. This is an onboard-exclusive offer where you put down a $250 deposit (price subject to change) for a future cruise within the next 24 months, and you’ll receive 10% off on your next voyage on the Disney Cruise Line website. For my family, it’s our way of making sure the magic doesn’t end when we disembark—because we already know another adventure at sea is on the horizon!

Mikiesha, I hope this helps you plan your final morning onboard. Whether your last meal is filled with Mickey waffles or pastries from the bakery, I know it will be sprinkled with just as much magic as the rest of your voyage. If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
