If you'll be sailing on a 3-night cruise to the Caribbean, Bahamas, or Mexico, it's highly likely that your
Pirate Night will be held on the second evening of your voyage. Pirate Night activities really start in the afternoon with themed crafts, games, activities, and Character greetings. You'll even hear the sounds of pirate chanteys floating through the ship to really get you into the buccaneer spirit of things. One thing to note is that 3-night sailings don't typically offer a pirate-themed dinner menu on Pirate Night. That way, you can enjoy each rotational dining restaurant's signature menu. Don't worry, though, no buccaneer will go hungry. Not ever!
To keep track of all of the activities happening on board, you'll want to be sure that you have the latest version of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone before you leave home. In many cases, you can connect to the DCL Guest Wi-fi network from the cruise terminal and open the Navigator app to begin browsing all of the activities, entertainment, and even restaurant menus before you board the ship. If you see an activity listed in the Daily Activity Schedule that you don't want to miss, select the heart icon next to the listing. If you have notifications enabled from the app, you can receive a reminder about the activity about 15 minutes before it begins. That's usually enough time to finish eating an ice cream cone by the pool and still get there on time.
