What day are the Christmas decoration taken down in Jan 2018? Planning to go around Jan 10 and I would like to see the decorations and the fake snow flakes.

    Happy Holidays, Ani!

Christmas!! This is my favorite holiday to visit Walt Disney World!

No official word is ever given as to when the holiday decorations are taken down. However, in the past, the tinsel, wreaths, and lights remain in the theme parks and resorts until about the 2nd week in January for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which is set for January 3-7, 2018.

During your visit, there could be a few snow flakes still floating around the Resort!

Enjoy your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have more questions before or during your vacation, stop by and visit with the Disney Parks Moms Panel again soon!

    Happy planning!
