Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca. You're visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth during
The World's Most Magical Celebration! With spectacular new shows, rides, treats, merchandise and décor, there’s certainly something there that wasn’t there before. I'm sure you are going to make a ton of core memory days.
Whenever I vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, I always want to maximize the magic. Therefore, on the day I check out, I too try to visit one more Park before I depart. Great minds think alike! Unfortunately, you're not allowed to bring any luggage onto any of the Disney
transportation systems. You are able to bring bags into the Theme Parks, however, they must not exceed
24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. One of the
benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that on the day you check out you can leave your luggage with
Bell Services. In fact, I recently did this myself when I stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This enabled me to enjoy a few hours in
EPCOT before leaving for the airport. You probably just want to make sure you arrive back at your hotel 20-30 minutes before you plan on departing so that a Cast Member has time to receive your luggage.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is a brilliant way to end your vacation, Rebecca. If you get the chance, make sure you watch the new
Disney KiteTails. I was so impressed by this fun and enjoyable show that I recently watched it twice in one afternoon. You'll no doubt work up a ravenous appetite as you trek through this wild and wonderful Park. If you're looking for one last meal to cap off your trip, my favorite places to eat in Disney's Animal Kingdom are
Flame Tree Barbeque in Discovery Island and
Satu’li Canteen in
Pandora – The World of Avatar.
I hope your upcoming trip turns out to be practically perfect in every way, Rebecca.

Mike
