    Hello, the day that we check inat the resort we are wanting to go to Epcot. Planning on being there around 830 am. Can we use our magic bands that early or do we have to go check in at the hotel first? Also are we allowed to use the dining credits also?

    Hi Lezlie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    November is a wonderful time to visit! Many of the holiday decorations should be up during your Walt Disney World Resort stay, so be sure to look for all of those special touches.

    I have great news for you - your MagicBand will be ready to go when you arrive, as long as your ticket, resort hotel reservation and dining plan are linked to your My Disney Experience account. I always advise travelers to keep their MagicBands accessible when they arrive for their Walt Disney World Resort vacation for that very reason. You can jump right into the fun!

    Make sure to take advantage of Online Check-In before your trip. This will allow you to skip the lines at the Front Desk when you do arrive at your resort hotel. I love this feature and use it every time I visit my favorite vacation destination (which is Walt Disney World Resort, of course!).

    One more suggestion I have is to check in to purchasing Memory Maker prior to your trip. This service allows you to download all the PhotoPass pictures and videos that are taken during your trip for up to 45 days after they are taken. My family has 100s of pictures and videos when we return from our trips, between PhotoPass photographers, select attraction pictures and videos and even some Character Dining location photo opportunities. Linking these pictures is another great way to use your MagicBand ... and get the whole family in front of the camera together!
