Hello! On the day we check out from our Disney hotel, are we able to drive to another hotel without paying parking fees? (We have a late flight and would like to see some of the Christmas decorations!)

    Hi Robert!

We absolutely love “resort hopping” during our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort and admiring all of the incredible and unique theming throughout all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!  Plus, some of our favorite tasty treats can be found at dining locations inside Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!  The holiday season brings even more--and often tasty--pixie dust to the resorts, so I completely understand why you would want to soak up as much of the magic as you can before you have to leave!

Luckily, even though you will already be checked out of your resort, you will not have to pay to park at another resort if you choose to "resort hop!"  Although you have to check out earlier in the day, you are still considered a Guest of your resort, and can therefore park your car as a Guest of your resort, until midnight that evening.  Because of this, the day you check out will be like any other day when it comes to parking!

I highly recommend visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the incredible gingerbread house and gorgeous Christmas tree in the lobby there!  You can even purchase some sweet treats from the gingerbread house so that you can take a little of the magic home with you!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Lindsey, Georgia

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
