Hello, I have a 3 day Cali resident pass and was wondering if I have to show my ID the next time I go, since they already have my picture from my first use of the pass?

    Hi Jeo,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! I am so happy to hear that you were able to get a SoCal Resident 3-day pass. This is a great way to enjoy the magic of the parks and explore all the wonderful things they have to offer.

It sounds like you have already taken your first trip. Now that you are all set with your picture from your first trip and your ID has been confirmed, you will not need to show your ID the next time you go. Just be prepared to show your ticket on the Disneyland app or scan your linked MagicBand+ to enter the parks.

Before your 3-day pass expires, I hope you are able to enjoy some special events coming to the Disneyland parks. The Food and Wine Festival at California Adventure ends soon on April 21. Check out the adventures of my fellow panelists Cody and Carrie at the Festival. You can see all the food options in the Foodie Guide provided by Disney Parks Blog. My favorite item at the festival was definitely the Musubi Fried Rice and the Cherry Cobbler Pot de Crème.

The Season of the Force is also happening at Disneyland and ends May 11. There will be special food, merchandise, and entertainment throughout the park. Be sure to check out Fire of the Rising Moons—a galactic perspective of the nightly fireworks from Galaxy’s Edge. There will also be a special edition of this show called “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.” The Disney Parks Blog has released a Season of the Force Guide and a Foodie Guide to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

While your pass will be ending soon, the magic does not need to stop. Jeo, I wanted to make sure you know that Disneyland is offering special tickets for the 70th Anniversary. These are 3-day or 4-day tickets, available for visits between May 16 and August 14, 2025 (subject to park reservation availability). Just like the SoCal Residents ticket, you can also upgrade these tickets to include Park Hopper access. Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the 70th Anniversary Guide and follow @Disneyland on Instagram to hear the latest news. Have you seen the new 70th Anniversary merchandise? A Spirit Jersey is calling my name!

I hope this information was helpful, Jeo. If you have any other questions, need additional help, or would love more advice, please feel free to write back to me or any of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to assist.

    Catch you in the parks!
