Hi there, Marisol! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so happy to hear you were able to take advantage of the latest
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer! These tickets are a great way to experience all the Disneyland Resort has to offer in the first half of 2023! I have some good news for you. While you will be asked to make
theme park reservations for specific days during the checkout process, these can be canceled and rescheduled, subject to availability. The reservations simply hold your spot in a particular park on a particular day, and we all know that sometimes life can throw a pumpkin (or a glass slipper!) in our path, so there is flexibility to move the reservations if needed.
Once your ticket is booked and original reservations are in place, you can make changes easily by heading into your
Disneyland Mobile App or your account on the
Disneyland website. In the app, head to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Future Plans". From here, you would scroll to the date you are looking to cancel, tap, and select "Cancel Reservation". Follow the prompts from there until it's confirmed. This will free you up to make a new reservation for your new date! I always recommend checking the
theme park reservation calendar ahead of time to ensure that your new date has availability. This calendar updates with any changes Guests are making, so even if you don't see an opening, continue to check back! Guests are asked to make cancelations by 11:59 p.m. PST the evening before, so you may see some movement on that last day.
Now that your park days are booked, are you getting excited about all the pixie dust coming to the parks?! I cannot wait to see the kick-off of the
Disney100 Celebration right at the Happiest Place on Earth. Mark your calendar for January 27th which will see the opening of
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway along with the debut of TWO brand new nighttime spectaculars -
Wondrous Journeys featuring odes to every single Walt Disney Animation Studios film (yes, all of them!) and
World of Color - ONE over at Disney California Adventure Park. You'll love spotting the centennial celebration décor, and you can bet there will be some special sweet treats and surprises! Keep your ears peeled on the
Disney Parks Blog for more information!
Marisol, I sure hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
Tara
