Hi Adam, welcome to planDisney!
One of my favorite things to do on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is enjoy the food and ambiance of table service restaurants. My family's Disney dining reservation day is coming up in a few weeks and our table service restaurant wish list continues to grow.
Space 220 Lounge in EPCOT recently blasted to the top of my son's list and my daughter is craving a milkshake from
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Advance dining reservations can be made
online up to 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can make dining reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before check-in.
As long as you have a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation
linked to your My Disney Experience account, Adam, dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) will automagically populate when a new day of reservations is released. I find it more efficient to make multiple reservations using a computer, though it's also possible to make dining reservations in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
60 days before your check-in day, I recommend being logged into your
My Disney Experience account by 5:45 a.m. ET (10:45 a.m. BST) with the webpage of your top-choice restaurant pulled up and ready to go. Click "Check Availability" and advance to your desired date. If it's still grayed out, exit out of the "Make a Reservation" window and continue clicking "Check Availability" until your travel dates appear. In my experience, this usually happens by 6:00 a.m. ET (11:00 a.m. BST). The early bird gets the largest selection of reservations.
The early bird also gets the shortest wait times in the standby queue on park days, which makes
early theme park entry one of the best perks of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Thanks for putting planDisney's service to the test. When it comes time to tie your napkin 'round your neck, Adam, Disney Cast Members will provide the rest.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
