Hey there! Hi there, Ash! I'm thrilled you came to planDisney with this question. Planning a Lightning Lane strategy means you are almost there! And it means you could be among the first to experience
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Being inside the
Tree of Life seems magical. Being inside the tree with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde... I cannot wait!
A
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a terrific way to make the most of your time at
Walt Disney World, saving time in lines at some of your favorite attractions. And it looks like you have the
Park Hopper option. Hot dog! You have several options for planning your day, depending on your priorities.
If you purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for
Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you will select three wild attractions at that park. Currently, the options include: DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, Feathered Friends in Flight!, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Naʻvi River Journey, and the new Zootopia 4D show.
Once you redeem your first Lightning Lane experience, you can select another from Animal Kingdom or the
Magic Kingdom (or any theme park). You have to scan in, not just let the time pass, before you can make an additional selection. But you do not have to go to the Magic Kingdom to select one of its Lightning Lane experiences.
If you want to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris and Zootopia, the Multi Pass will help save time at these very popular attractions. DINOSAUR is closing in 2026, so the wait times to enjoy this one more time are increasing. I love to rope drop and head to Everest, as the lines are shorter while everyone heads to
Avatar Flight of Passage, but if you are not there at park opening, you might want to use one of your Lightning Lane passes for this thrill.
If
attractions at the Magic Kingdom are your priority, you may want to purchase a Multi Pass for this park. When you can make additional selections on the day of your visit, it is based on current availability. Attractions like the Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, and Space Mountain tend to book up early.
Ash, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions as you plan to spend the most wonderful time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, please come see us again at
