    We have a 5 day basic park tickets and are planning on attending MMVCP one day but want to attend another park in the morning. Can I do Animal Kingdom in the morning then 7 pm party (purchase admission)? Park hopper required?

    Hi, Monica!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort events!  I am so happy to hEAR that you are planning to attend the festivities during your upcoming trip.  Nothing puts me in the holiday spirit like snow falling on Main Street U.S.A. as the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade goes by.

    In order to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will need to purchase tickets to this special event that are completely separate from your regular theme park admission tickets.  If you are planning to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the morning, then attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the evening, you may do so without adding the Park Hopper option to your tickets.  You will use one day's theme park admission to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, then use your special event tickets to enter Magic Kingdom Park for the party. 

    If you wish to have a little extra time in Magic Kingdom Park on the evening of the party, be sure to head over early.  In my experience, I have been able to enter Magic Kingdom Park with my Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket as early in the evening as 4:00.
