If we have the 4 day base ticket but are only visiting for 3 days can we visit 2 parks in 1 day? I have seen conflicting information...some say yes, others say no. Please help! Thank you.

Hello, Lisa!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Since you did not purchase tickets with the Park Hopper option, you will not be able to visit two different parks in one day.  For example, if you visit the Magic Kingdom, you are more than welcome to leave for a break and come back to the Magic Kingdom with no problem later on that same day. You would not be able to visit the Magic Kingdom then leave to another park.  Basically, choose one park per day of your visit.  I hope this helps.
