We are going to have a 5 day base ticket and are only staying 4 days, can we use the 1 extra day to visit more than one park/day? I saw a post here from 2008 that said no, just wondering if that's still true or if anything's changed in the last 8

    Hi, Christi!

The rule from 2008 stands.  In order to visit two different parks in the same day, you will need to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket.  Perhaps you can pop into a park even for a quick hour or so on your arrival or departure day to use that 5th day.  You will lose that 5th day if you don't use it, so try to squeeze in an extra bit of magic!

Even though you cannot visit more than one park in a day without the Park Hopper option, you are welcome to leave a park for a mid-day break then return later in the evening.  We used to take a mid-day break for my kids when they were little so they could rest. Now that my kids are teenagers, the break is for ME!

Wishing you a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
