Hi Misty,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your questions!
Summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort is always so fun! When I was a child, I loved coming in the summer time because I didn’t need to think about school when I was back from vacation. Such a bonus as a kid!
Misty, if you want to select two different types of tickets, it looks like you can do that
via the Walt Disney World website! What you’ll want to do first is select your “One Park Per Day tickets” and fully add them to your cart. Once loaded in, you’ll go back to the ticket section of the website and select your “Park Hopper Option” tickets for one day and fully add them to the cart. When you’re looking at your cart about to check out, you should have both types of tickets in your cart! If you have any issues, you can always reach out to the
New Tickets help desk.
When you’re purchasing both the tickets, make sure the dates line up properly on the calendar so there are no gaps in between the times you go into the Theme Parks. I highly suggest doing the Park Hopper Day at the beginning of the vacation so your family is more active and ready to use that ticket to the fullest!
If you head over to
Guest Services upon arrival on your first day in the Theme Parks, you’ll want to ask the Cast Member to prioritize your tickets. So, if you want to use the Park Hopper ticket first, that ticket would be used instead of the One Park Per Day. If you’re Park Hopping, your MagicBand should already use that ticket if you tap into a different Theme Park on the same day, but it might be helpful to just prioritize them with a Cast Member ahead of time so there are no mishaps!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your summer trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
