Hi Jaynee -
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm thrilled you have trusted us with your vacation planning questions over the years and we're always happy to say "Welcome Home" to a friend!
Jaynee, I'm sorry to hear that your vacation plans have changed and you won't be able to join your husband and son on your upcoming trip. While Walt Disney World Resort
park tickets are non-refundable, you may be able to change the dates of your unused tickets. When you view your tickets in your My Disney Experience account, either from the
website or the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you should see an option to modify your tickets. You can select new dates to use your tickets, but as you previously mentioned, you would need to pay the difference if the dates you are visiting are more expensive. Since your husband and your son are still visiting the parks, you can choose whether you want to do this just for your ticket, or for all of your tickets. If you change the dates of all of your tickets, you can then purchase new tickets for your husband and son. There are also Cast Members who can assist you by
calling Existing Tickets if you run into any technical problems!
While your husband and son are visiting, you may want to remind them of all the wonderful things taking place at the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. I'm a bit of a foodie and love visiting the
Outdoor Kitchens while I'm admiring the beautiful topiaries. Then, as evening starts to set in, the American Gardens Theater comes to life with the
Garden Rocks Concert Series featuring vibrant music from some amazing artists. It's well worth the visit!
Jaynee, I hope this information is helpful and that you are able to make your return to Walt Disney World Resort very soon! Please stop by to see us again at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future!
Cheers,
Kristi
