Hello Frank,
Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready for a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Depending on the type of booking you made for your visit, you might be eligible to receive
travel documents that include perks such as a
Magical Extras card that offers discounts on shopping and dining as well as vouchers for fun activities like miniature golf. These travel documents can be sent by mail or email if you make your reservation 11 days or more before your arrival. As an alternative, you can pick up your Magical Extras card at the Front Desk of your Resort hotel when you arrive.
If you're planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, the really important step you'll want to complete is to make sure that your Resort reservation or theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account so that you can make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. You'll want to make your theme park reservations as soon as you can after purchasing your theme park tickets.
You can use the
"Let's Link Your Reservations and Purchases" form to link your Resort reservation or vacation package (which could include theme park tickets) or your separate theme park tickets. For a Resort reservation or vacation package, simply enter the reservation confirmation number and the last name on the reservation. For theme park tickets, simply enter the ticket ID number.
After you have your theme park ticket information linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can use the
Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations. The quick steps will include selecting the Guests to add to the reservation, selecting the date to visit a theme park, and selecting a theme park to visit. Theme park reservations are based on availability, and so it's helpful to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar when planning a visit.
When it comes time to enjoy all your theme park fun, you'll have a few convenient options for showing your purchased theme park ticket for entry. You can use a
MagicBand linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can use the
Disney MagicMobile Service on a supported mobile device, or you can use a standard theme park ticket admission card that you can pick up at a Guest Relations window outside a theme park.
Frank, I hope this information is helpful as you make your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. If you find you need some additional help with questions about your travel documents, you can reach out to a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort by calling (407)-934-7639.
Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
