    On day of arrival (at POFQ by 2) we were hoping to visit MK but they are closing at 7 for the MNSSHP &we're not attending the party. I just read that party-goers can come into the park earlier than 7 even w/o a park ticket so should we avoid this park?

    It is true (although not advertised) that party-goers can begin arriving the Magic Kingdom turnstiles around 4 p.m. on the day of a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The party guests are allowed in around this time with just their party ticket.

    Therefore, it is wise to avoid the Magic Kingdom on late afternoons before an evening party.  

    I would recommend going to Epcot and enjoying Illuminations or Hollywood Studios and ending the evening with Fantasmic.
