Our 180 day is approaching and I'm wondering if you have a preference for making those or online?

    Hi there, Ellen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in September!

This is a great question, Ellen! I get so excited when my 180-day booking window opens for making dining reservations. I actually prefer to book my dining reservations online. According to the official Disney website, Guests may begin making dining reservations online for select Walt Disney World restaurants at approximately 5:45 a.m. EST and by phone at 7:00 a.m. EST. Because booking can be done a little earlier online, my preference is to take advantage of that earlier booking window. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can start making dining reservations 180 days in advance of your arrival date for your entire length of stay. Be sure to have your resort reservation linked in My Disney Experience before logging on to book dining reservations. Many of the most popular restaurants can fill up several months in advance, so I think you are very wise to book on the morning your 180-day window opens.

If you've not done so already, be sure to download My Disney Experience mobile app to manage your vacation plans, view attraction wait times and book FastPass+ selections and dining reservations while on the go.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Ellen! Please stop by again with any new questions or if you would like dining recommendations. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Bon Appétit,
